In a moment of fearlessness, I volunteered to co-host a friend's upcoming baby shower. The last few weeks have meant more babies on the brain syndrome than usual. While surfing for shower ideas, I slammed on the brakes on seeing these delightful cookies.These cookie creations by I Am Baker are just simple sugar cookies with glossy icing in the shape of animals. This is beyond our skill level but a friend thinks she may be able to pull off something similar. Behind Closet Doors

We understand we sometimes become easily excited over things that most people aren't (under bed storage and diy labeling projects probably top the list). So it's no surprise that we are completely enthralled with the makeover of this deceptively normal looking closet. Little do you know it holds one heck of a surprise!

Now, most moms probably wouldn't be too keen on the idea of showing off their 3 year old's closet, but Ana over at Knock Off Wood shares all her projects without fear (or at least we never see it) and in the name of bettering homes around the world. Her ideas are easy to understand and empower you to actually execute them instead of saving a photo to your desk top for another time.

These doors were a traditional bi-fold door that with a few modifications and the addition of interior shelving became not only a place to hold clothes, but also a library and storage for a million other things. We love the look, the organization it offers and the overall amazingness that has us running to the store for casters.

Hooray!  Bonsai Sheroes are super heroes that will appeal to girls and motivate them to be powerful and positive!
The characters and merchandise have a fun look that is very girly (pink, hearts and feminine style) and also very strong. They are here to save the world, after all.
The backpack is really cute and very roomy. I was surprised at how much space there is inside – plenty of room to carry a lunch or jacket inside along with the usual school gear. There is an outer zipper pouch on one side and a mesh pocket on the other. The pack is easy to wipe clean and the adjustable straps are padded.
The Bonsai Sheroes “The Beginning” audio book and music cd will entertain and inspire the imagination. I love that they thought to do an audio book for kids – great to listen to in the car or at home. It isn’t just a dry reading of the story. There are sound effects to make it more entertaining. The pop music is G rated and kid friendly.
They also have other cute extras featuring the Bonsai Sheroes – door hanger to request quiet or room service, notepads, shoes, stickers and more.
Bonsai Sheroes are good for fun and empowerment!
