Last week the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Summer Infant announced a voluntary recall of video monitors with electrical cords. The recall was prompted by two strangulation deaths and the fix consists of a permanent electrical cord warning label, additional cord wall-mounting security clips and revised instructions for safe installation. This sobering reminder about cord safety has us thinking about electronics in the nursery.
